Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin (1987 Miami Mix)

Pet Shop Boys It's A Sin single sleeve front
The Miami Mix of It's A Sin (by Phil Harding) was a US only release, after the UK version had left the charts. It was titled the 'Latin Vocal Mix'. This is an interesting mix, and although it takes away some of the drama of the original, it has enough new sounds to make it worthwhile listening to.

Released on 15th June 1987, the song became one of the duo's biggest hits, topping the singles chart for three weeks in the UK. Released as the lead single from the album Actually, the dramatic 80s song was also a massive European hit.

The Actually album is pop perfection and achieved 3x Platinum in sales in the British album charts. Virtually every track had the potential to be released as a single, although Lowe and Tennant didn't get greedy and there were just four in all, the other three being What Have I Done To Deserve This (featuring Dusty Springfield), Rent (I love you, you pay my rent - great lyrics) and Heart.
